Thanks. I have read too many negative things about Korea, but as we all know people who are positive don't speak out as often. I love it here. I have been here 11 months and plan to come back early next year as well.

Hi, I'm a young native English speaker (From Quebec, but an English family & area) and I wanted to know if you could possibly tell me about your experiences working as an English teacher abroad. I'm looking into becoming a certified teacher, as well as getting TESOL certification, but I thought it might be a good idea to talk to a few people with experience in the field to see if this is really what I want to do. So, I was wondering if you would mind being in contact with me about this? I would love to hear more about what pushed you in this direction and what keeps you doing this job.

Truly,
Maya

Unless you hold a passport from a native speaking country your chances are pretty slim. You might want to check out www.eslcafe.com and the forums there to see if anyone in your position has had luck finding work.

Hi, teaching english sounds like an ideal way to earn while traveling. Problem for me is that I´m not a native speaker. However I´ve finished a BA degree where most of the curriculum was in english. What chances do you think someone like me has finding a job teaching english?
