So fall is upon us here in Korea, and its nice. I am really enjoying the weather, and I hope it stays this way for some time. We plan on doing more hiking as the weeks wear on, but in the mean time I am back in the gym.
My school has a good deal for us with the gym. It’s very close to home and in the end its free for us. We pay 50,000 won up front and the school reimburses us the following month. So I plan to take more advantage of this.
I know its not New Year’s yet, but I am going to go ahead and try some resolutions. I started this a few days ago when there was 100 days left in the year. My goals are two-fold. First, is to save more money on a monthly basis. I don’t like to talk about money here, so I won’t talk specifics. Second, I want to lose 20 pounds or 11 kilograms.
I think its possible, and I plan on giving updates here in hopes that a few of you will add some encouragement along the way.
I have already started to eat a little better and I know I need to continue. I have cut out soda and sweets. Overall I eat better here than I do back home anyway including a lot more vegetables.
I’ll weigh myself every Monday and post updates here.
Wish me luck
