I have always wanted to write, but I am not that great at it.  Last year Matador came out with a travel writing course.  I have long wanted to travel the world.  I love seeing new places, trying new foods, and experiencing new cultures.  What better way to share all of that with the world than learning how to write with the flair that will keep readers coming back.  I am relatively new to the online scene, but I hope over the next year my internet footprint will continue to grow.  I am planning a second blog site to share my baseball journeys around the world.  However, to do what I want to do, I know I need to learn to write in a way that I will not only attract more readers, but keep them coming back.  That is where MatadorU comes in.  I took the plunge today and joined.  I am excited to get some good feedback on my writing and to learn.  Over the next few months I will write, read, and learn.  Hopefully this will translate into a better experience for you the reader.
